Empowering Introverted Leaders 

​Many people have shared with me and I have observed myself an undercurrent of  bias towards introversion in the leadership space. 

This is because many people believe in the notion of the extroverted, inspirational leader effortlessly networking, speaking with large crowds, thinking on their feed and being verbally expressive.  

Often these behaviours are the opposite of how an introverted leader presents being more innately reflective, quiet and less outwardly expressive in their demeaner.  

This is a shame as introverted leaders can my some of the most positively impactful - especially when they understand the power of introversion.

I love to collaborate with others and in 2018 I was offered the opportunity to contribute my own chapter to the book "Confidence Confidential - a collaboration of perspectives".  

​My focus was my own personal journey and my view about leadership and leadership Development.

Personality Profiling for leaders 

I think that Personality profiling  is a great tool for leadership development.  It provides an option for leaders to explore their core personality, work and personal preferences and strengths.  h  Frameworks such as MBTI  which I use, helps leaders to identify how others may perceive and experience them, how they are likely to approach work with others and where they  could useful focus their development areas and adapt to suit the team they lead

CAPACITY - CAPABILITY - CONFIDENCE 
Contrary to what I myself have done and the perspective and approaches that I have seen from other leaders asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
I have found that leaders may need help in one of the following areas:

Capacity - the resources a team, service or an organisation needs to carry out a tasks, functions, or projects.  
Capacity challenges can include; high workload levels, time constraints, low energy, high stress, change fatigue, or low commitment to tasks. 
We help leaders who are grappling with the challenges of too many competing priorities or they have their 'heads down' in business, or service operations and unable to focus on strategy or leading change.   
Typically, we fill the capacity gap for change initiatives, transformation projects and programmes as Interim Change Managers/specialists or Interim Organisational Development Managers/specialists. 

Capability -  the extent to which people, teams or organisations have the skills set, leadership characteristics or capability to carry out  particular management and leadership activities, tasks or functions.  
We fill the leadership capability gap, with solutions for increasing all types of management and leadership skills, change management and/or organisational development readiness levels.  
We offer facilitated workshops to explore the 6 behaviours that we believe can have the biggest positive impact on leadership capability.

Confidence:  We fill gaps in leadership confidence - self-awareness - self-management - self-belief - to support people to build and to believe in their own abilities, to be self-assured, self-aware and to be the type of leader that people want to follow. 
Confidence guiding and confidence building is achieved through one-to-one confidence coaching sessions, personality profiling (MBTI) and/or workshops
Poetry and its place in leadership 
For me poetry in leadership is all about motivation, inspiration, validation and support positive mindset shifts.

One cry of 'yes we can' gets even more positivity.  
​The power of us ramps up our accountability - do you deliver on who you say you want to be?
