In honour and thanks to those pioneers - many of whom are now known as the "Windrush generation". We would like to acknowledge all those "1st born in the UK of migrant parents" often referred to as Caribbean Disaporans. All without whom the books on this website; "Through Sweat and Tears" and |Through Sweat Tears and Triumphs" would not have been written.
Their willingness to share their stories and experiences of their lives as lived through sweat, tears and triumphs from from their journey from the Caribbean to the UK is a valuable part of the history, of both the Caribbean and the United Kingdom.
